SEEN and CELEBRATED: A Portrait of YOU
Writing & Photography Group Workshop • $199 ($175 if signing up with a friend)
A companion workshop to the gallery show, The Empowered Portrait Project: Seeing and Celebrating Women over 50. Through guided writing, you’ll reflect on the experiences, people, and choices that have made you who you are today. From there, we’ll explore what an honest and authentic portrait of you might look like.
Using our phones, we’ll work with light, setting, clothing, expression, and the small details that help a photograph feel like you. You’ll create meaningful portraits while also learning to see and photograph others.
No writing or photography experience necessary. Just come as you are, with your phone and a willingness to explore.

THE SEEN and CELEBRATED SESSION
Half-day private creative and portrait experience • $475
In-person
A personal creative experience followed by a natural portrait session. Through conversation, writing, reflection, and photography, we’ll create space for you to see and express something meaningful about who you are now.
Includes a small collection of digital images and one printed 8 × 12 photograph, with the option to purchase more.
CREATIVE COMPANION SESSION
90-minute private session • $175
Online or in-person
A one-on-one session created around you. We might write, work with photographs, explore an idea or personal project you’ve been thinking about, or simply make room to discover what creatively wants your attention next.
No experience or finished project needed. This session may be scheduled on its own or as an add-on to a group workshop.
CREATIVE INVITATIONS GROUP WORKSHOP
Ongoing weekly emails and bi-weekly zoom gatherings• $65/month
Writing/photography and other prompts inspiring creative expression in a safe, welcoming and supportive community.
